Lake Victoria Flying Excursion

Flying Safaris to Lake Victoria

The flight will depart from Seronera airstrip at approximately 0800 hours and fly 40 minutes to the town of Musoma, where they will be met by guides from Lukuba Island Lodge, which operates the Lake Victoria portion of the day trip. Guests will board a twin-engine sport fishing boat and will spend several hours sightseeing and fishing en route to Lukuba Island, 13 kilometers from Musoma. Refreshments will be provided on board.

After reaching the island guests will have the opportunity to visit a fishing village, bird watch, and relax lakeside.

Lukuba Island Lodge will provide a luxurious Zanzibar lunch on a private bay adjacent to the lodge. At approximately 1300 hours guests will be transferred to Musoma by boat 20 minutes where they will meet their plane for the return flight to Seronera. Guests will arrive at their lodges at around 1430 hours, in time for an afternoon rest before resuming their safaris in Serengeti National Park.
