Day 1: Mountain Village Lodge, Arusha
Your ultimate safari Holiday in Tanzania starts as you arrive in Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha, you will be met outside custom area by your private guide and vehicle, you will be transferred by road to your lodge.Your accommodation will be in a standard room with en suite facilities on a bed and breakfast basis.
Mountain Village Serena Lodge offers a classic Africa experience with accommodation in individual rondavel style thatch chalets with a feel of a warm, friendly and hospitable atmosphere,some of the rooms provide spectacular views of Lake Duluti, Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro when the clouds are clear.
The lodge has a large central restaurant and bar with roof terrace. Lake Duluti boasts a prolific bird life and nature walks to the lake can be arranged from the lodge
Days 2 – 3: Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
Your Holiday in Africa begins this morning after breakfast.An adventure in Ngorongoro crater awaits you as you depart Arusha town, you will have a short stop at Gibbs Farm, where you stop for lunch. You visit the farm en-route and then transfer to the lodge.At the lodge you can stretch your leg having a walk in the coffee plantation, visit the water falls or the elephant caves,before returning to your lodge top take your lunch.After lunch it is time to proceed with your journey to Ngorongoro crater.
Your room at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Loidge has a private terrace and en suite bathroom on a full board basis.The Lodge hosts guests in 75 guest rooms, all boasting en suite facilities.
The lounge and dining room are set indoors, with large glass windows providing stunning views of the crater below. The highlight of your stay at Ngorongoro crater includes a day trip into the caldera with packed lunch,other activities available include a visit to the local Masai village or even visits to the famous Olduvai Gorge, all at an additional cost.
Days 4 & 5: Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge,Tanzania
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park stopping en route at Olduvai Gorge, he site of Dr. & Mrs. LSB Leakey’s discovery of Zinjanthropus bosei. Here, you will enjoy a short talk from one of the Deputies of Antiquities, who will explain to you what has been done and what continues to happen.
The Gorge was discovered accidentally by a German butterfly collector, Professor Kattwinkle, in 1911, but it was not until 1959 that Dr. Mary Leakey unearthed the Zinj skull believed to be 1.8 million years old.
You will have a two nights accommodation Serengeti Safari lodge, in a twin bedded chalet with en-suite facilities on a full board basis.The design of the lodge is inspired by a traditional African village; separate rondavel (hut) house the luxury guest rooms that have their own spectacular views of the vast Serengeti plains.
The Serengeti National Park is a natural paradise and home to one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth, the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle.
Days 6 : Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, Tanzania
Today you will experience Tanzania flying safari as you are transferred to Seronera airstrip to connect with a scheduled flight to Manyara airstrip.From you will be met at the Lake Manyara airstrip by you safari guide who will transfers you to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge where you will have lunch followed by a short rest in your room until 3 PM when your guide will pick you and together drive to Lake Manyara National where you will have afternoon game viewing activities.
You will stay at the beautiful Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge for 1 nights in a thatched room with an en-suite bathroom. Your stay here is on a full board basis
Lake Manyara National Park abounds with bird life and wildlife. You can experience all of this on one of the safari activities during your Tanzania safari holiday.
Days 7: Return to Arusha/Depart
After breakfast morning game drive Manyara National Park. In the afternoon return to your lodge where you will have lunch and thereafter return to Arusha. On arrival you have an option to go shopping before proceeding to the airport as your Tanzania Safaris and tours sadly comes to and,but departing with memorable experiences of your Tanzanian holiday
