Day 1: Mountain Village Lodge, Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport on day one of your African vacation package, you will be met by a representative and transferred by road to your lodge, located 35 kms away from the aiport.In a standard room with en suite facilities on a bed and breakfast basis. The Mountain Village Lodge offers a classic Africa experience with accommodation in individual rondavel style thatch chalets and a warm, friendly and hospitable atmosphere, all dwarfed by the spectacular views of Lake Duluti, Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro.
The lodge has a large central restaurant and bar with roof terrace. The area boasts a prolific birdlife and nature walks to the lake can be arranged.
Days 2 and 3: Swala Camp, Tarangire National Park
After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park. On arrival game viewing en route to Swala tented lodge.
Accommodation:
In spacious and comfortable safari tents on a full board basis. Swala Camp is a luxury safari camp that offers a unique, personal and exclusive game viewing experience in the heart of the Tarangire National Park. This camp offers a lovely atmosphere of sophisticated elegance and warm hospitality.
Activities include game viewing in your 4×4 vehicle, guided bush walks, excellent bird watching opportunities, gourmet meals and traditional sundowners.
Day 4: Lake Manyara Serena Lodge
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara Lodge is set in the diverse Lake Manyara National Park and offers the most dramatic views across the floor of the Great Rift Valley. This Tanzania lodge is designed to reflect the exceptional and unique bird life of the area. Accommodation is in 54 luxurious and comfortable guest rooms, all featuring modern facilities and amenities.
Activities include a well stocked Africana Gift Shop, beauty treatments and massage services, a vibrant collection of traditional music, culture and dance, a wide range of board games, library books on Africa, Lake breakfasts, barbecue lunches, bush dinners and convivial sundowners.
Days 5 and 6: Ngorongoro Serena/Sopa
Today there is a short transfer up to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. This is the largest intact crater in the world. During your stay you enjoy a visit to the crater floor and a walk to the crater rim.
Accommodation:
In a room with a private terrace and en suite bathroom on a full board basis, including one full day game drive in a 4X4 safari vehicle. Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge hosts guests in 75 guest rooms, all boasting en suite showers and a private terrace.
The lounge and dining room are set indoors, with large glass windows providing stunning views of the crater. Activities available include day trips into the caldera, visits to the local Masai village or even visits to the famous Olduvai Gorge, all at an additional cost.
Days 7 – 9: Serengeti Migration Camp, Serengeti National Park
Today you will be transferred back to Lake Manyara for your flight to Migration Camp in the Serengeti National Park. Your days will be spent traversing this vast and diverse Park.

This Tanzania safari lodge plays host to one of the world’s most dramatic and magnificent spectacles, the Great Migration. Accommodation is in 20 luxurious safari tents, featuring en suite bathroom with separate shower, fan, hairdryer, private verandah and mosquito netting. Lodge facilities include a restaurant, lounge, bar, swimming pool, sundeck and gift shop.
Days 10 and 11: Sand Rivers Selous, Selous Game Reserve
Today you transfer to the Seronera airstrip to connect with the scheduled light aircraft flight to Selous. Upon arrival you will be transferred to Sand Rivers. During your visit you will be able to go on game drives, walks and trips to the Lake.

Days 12 – 14: Matemwe Bungalows, Zanzibar
On day 12 of your East Africa vacation package there is a transfer back to the airstrip for a scheduled light aircraft flight to Zanzibar via Dar Es Salaam. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred ti the North East Coast of this small and charming island. Your days are spent relaxing or participating in activities available.
Accommodation:
In 12 en suite bungalows on a full board basis Located on the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania, Matemwe Bungalows offers an authentic island beach experience. Accommodation is in 12 en suite bungalows built from local materials, each boasting private verandahs with its own hammocks. Rooms are equipped with mosquito nets and large king size beds, ideal for loving couples looking for a romantic retreat.
Zanzibar is a water sports haven, with numerous exciting activities to keep you entertained throughout your stay. Activities include ocean trips, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking, swimming, Whale and Dolphin viewing and island tours.
Day 15: Depart
On the final day of your East Africa vacation package you return to Zanzibar Airport to connect with your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam for your international flight home.
