Day 1: Serena Arusha Mountain Village, Arusha.
Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport on day one of your all inclusive travel package in Tanzania, you will be met by a representative of Smart African Travel and transferred to the Mountain Village Lodge in Arusha for overnight.

Days 2:Tarangire National Park
Dreams become reality this morning as you depart your hotel for your first experience of safari tour in Tanzania, Smart African Travel style.
Your first Tanzania safari destination is prehistoric-looking Tarangire National Park, where you experience the African wilderness as the early explorers did – without crowds! One of the best parks on the northern circuit to see elephants, Tarangire’s wildlife population includes herds of zebra, jackal, giraffe, gazelle, and buffalo. Arrive at your safari lodge in time for lunch, after a short rest in your room.At around 3 PM in the afternoon game drive into a landscape dotted with baobab trees and umbrella-thorn acacias.
This lodge with marble floors, fountains, waterfalls and magnificent views through double storey windows are the stunning features of the main areas. The swimming pool is intriguing with its island. It’s large rooms have two queen size beds with en suite shower & toilet, a balcony and a lounge with minibar.
Day 3: Tarangire game drives
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire National Park. It’s one of the best parks for elephant watching, and is home to hundreds of bird and game species.

Days 4 : Lake Manyara National Park, Tanzania
your depart your lodge after breakfast to look for gazelles, waterbucks, impalas, and leopards on a morning game drive.Thereafter travel to Lake Manyara National Park, famed for flamingos and birds of prey.Enjoy free time at your lodge, set on the Rift Valley escarpment overlooking the park and valley 1,000 feet below. Keep a sharp eye out for tree-climbing lions lazing among the limbs of acacia trees on an afternoon game drive.
Lake Manyara Serena Lodge is located at the edge of the Mto Wa Mbu escarpment and overlooks the Great Rift Valley. Accommodation is in 67 spacious rooms with en-suite bathroom with shower facilities and a private verandah. The main area includes a dining room with indoor and outdoor seating, a bar, lounge, curio shop and a small meeting room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, the perfect way to cool down on a hot day in Africa.

Days 5:Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today you have the option of either taking a morning nature walk through tranquil lodge grounds or travelling to the village of Mto wa Mbu for an in-depth view of tribal life in the African bush; take a look inside a typical home and school, and see villagers at work in their daily life. Then journey on to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to Ngorongoro Crater and one of Africa’s largest concentrations of permanent wildlife.
Your lodge on the dormant volcano’s rim provides private terraces overlooking the lost world of the caldera below.

Day 6: Wildlife in Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you head to the heart of Ngorongoro Crater, one of the largest calderas in the world offering an exceptional wildlife viewing experience, the cater fllor contains a variety of ecosystems and an astounding concentration of birds and animals. Encounter massive herds of zebra, wildebeest, and gazelles. This area affords an opportunity to spot the Big Five, which includes African elephant, leopard, the black maned lion, buffalo, and the rare black rhinoceros. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater floor.

Days 7: Olduvai Gorge & Maasai Village
Depart for the world reknowned Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, where archaeologists Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the fossilized remains of the earliest known man, an estimated 1.8 million years old. Visit a local Masai village, then continue with journer.On arrival at the park, wildlife viewing while driving the rough dirt roads across the plains and grasslands of the Serengeti. Arrive at your safari lodge in the Western Serengeti, which was inspired by Masai tribal dwellings.
You spend 2 nights at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge in a twin bedded chalet with en-suite facilities on a full board basis. Your stay includes park fees, one half and a full day game drive and return airstrip transfers.

After the balloon ride continue with your exciting game viewing activities on the Serengeti plains that may yield sightings of wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, rhinoceros, hippos, buffalos, jackals, and gazelles. Day 11: Fly From Serengeti National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, your wildlife safari in Tanzania comes to an end as you are transferred to the airstrip where you will board Arusha bound scheduled flight.On arrival at Arusha airport, you will be met by your Smart African Travel representative and together, you drive to Mountain Village Lodge where a day room to freshen-up is reserved for you.The lodge is set in a tree-shaded coffee plantation overlooking Lake Duluti. Recount the week’s many adventures at dinner before transferring to the airport.In the evening you will be collected by your driver/guide and transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will board your home bound flight!
